Sounds like a bad plan to me.
He just wants a hunting licence and is not honest enough to say so. If you are married it should be more important to consider what you both want. If your feelings are not that important to him you should see a good divorce lawyer. In my opinion it sounds like it has already gotten to that stage.

This I know.... You can't start having an open marriage after 20 years. An open marriage should have been a thing you agreed on in the beginning.
It makes all the rest a lie and a waste of everyone's time.

I have been married almost two years now and it seems your husband of 20 years is just looking for a legitimate and legal way to cheat on you. If I were you I would say no.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! This will wreck your marriage if there is one left to wreck.You need to see a marriage conselour before it is to late. Whats he going thru? A midlife crisis. Tell him no but if he must then to go and stay gone.

Marriage is a covenant with God, thy shall not comit adultery, after 20 yrs y would he want to cheat, my guess is he is already cheathing, and he is looking for your approval.....may God lead the way for u.....God bless ya

Open marriages can be sucessful, but from what I've heard, more often than not, they fail. It's something that depends very much on your personalities and ability to trust and communicate with eachother. No one can tell you.
