Invalid to who? what is invalid to me.. may not be invalid to you and vice versa. I believe that most people who practice their religions.. truly believe their relgion is the "right" one. For me, religions are like roads.. all trying to get to the same place. Some take the right road, and some take the wrong ones, some get lost. Its up to everyone to choose their own road.

There are a great many religious practices that are not Biblical and therefore are not valid. The Mormons are guilty of adding to the Bible with their Book of Mormon and their belief that anyone can become a God in their own world just like Jesus did. They think Jesus was a normal man who was very good and therefore was made into a God over the earth. You have to look at different religions and what they believe before making a decision about their validity. Read the very last words in the Bible and you can see where many are wrong. The Jehovah Witnesses claimed many times in the past to know when Jesus would return and it clearly states in the Bible that no man, not even Jesus knows when the events in the Book of Revelation will take place. It's safe to see why any church who claims to know this is a false church.

The short answer is "NO", all religious practices are valid. In order for a "practice" to be religious it must be something which fits within the context of a particular religion. By definition then, all religious practices are valid. This does not mean they are recognized as having value by anyone outside that particular religion, however, this does not negate their validity.

well the definition of normal is what society says is normal so in actuality everything you do that a majority of society "says" is not normal is not normal, so its just b/s.....just like religion, if enough ppl accept it as a religion then so be it, theres a religion, to get down to it, it is opinion, which could be all or none, your choice............also to be straight with ya, Jedi is an invalid religion a bunch of people in Australia tried organizing to be accepted as a religion...but i dont think it worked out, not sure

If you were to ask 10 different major faiths that question, all of them would say "My faith is the only true faith"
But I disagree. All are valid to those that practice them

Yep. All of them. Unless you want to call taking a dump a religious practice (and sometimes it can be).

Yes. When the catholics pray to saints it is like they are slapping god in the face and saying "No thanks I'll just pray to this guy who worshiped you".
