limewire is having connection prob's everywhere i think the law is on their back i just changed to bearshare lite not as good but not bad ..DON'T USE ARES FULL OF SPYWARE

Yikes,
This could be for a number of reasons ...
The most common perhaps are firewall issues, do you run a router that establishes your internet connection, has it been firewalled? You can make the assumption that this is not the case, if "it used to work, and youve changed nothing" - If its never worked well for you, then a firewall is most likely the cause, you will need to tinker about in your router to open the ports that limewire uses.
The same can be said for a software firewalll; if at any time, the windows software firewall has done this, once again, u will need to tinker with it to open limewires ports. Dont open everything ! - Firewalls are there for a reason, they are there to keep you safe.
There are a bunch of other really technical reasons why this might also be the case, you might have a serious spyware issue. If you notice your internet browser doing strange things, like going to pages you never wanted to go to, or if your browser doesnt work, or works intermittantly, you might have a spyware infection. Download adaware from lavasoft and run it, there is a free version for home use, and even if this doesnt completely fix your problem, you will at least be in a position to see if you have a spyware issue (it will detect bad software on your computer)
Ive typed a lot, and with a problem of this nature, you might still not be able to come right with this, perhaps post a question again, with as much detail as you can once you have poked around a bit.

i had the same problems with limewire it was good when it came out a long time ago but the newer the version the worst it got on slowing down and not loading anything. I went to blubster.com only to get my music but i am looking for a decent p2p file program to get other files

well lime wie is a p2p software that means it downloads and uploads data instead of limewire for music try emp3world.com/emp3finder.com and for everything else try torrents.

Bad internet, lack of those songs, or the damn user signed off before you started or finished your downloading from him, because you download from people. Hate it when people do that.
You asked why the institutional lime wire program is not downloading the precaution program of songs, I answered.

first of all, it's ILLEGAL!
second, u need to do a spyware scan & virus scan on ur comp.
try defragging also.
