What do you think of the rumours that he might be actively stepping up as a candidate for the presidential elections.

He might be a good president. My only worry is that he has been out of touch with public governance for some time ( which was the crucial time in our country's history). Give me Tokyo or Cyril. I would however not be happy with JZ or even Kgalema. Have you sen how they pander to those hotheads in the ANC Youth league!!!

I do not support the ANC, however, for the moment we have to accept that the next president will be ANC and then yes, Sexwale is a better candidate than Zuma or Mbeki. Wonder if Trevor Manuel will stand...He's the only one in the ANC who seems to be doing a decent job.

Because of his links with the business community haning him as president would be good for the economy however the risk is that he sells himself out to business as has happened in America. The real reason we need a president is to create a better life for ordinary South Africans, they should not be sidelined to business.

His appointment would instill international confidence in South Africa which could be good for foreign investment.

Perhaps a more moderate candidate who can relate more to the people and to busibness should be chosen. How about Phumzile Mlambo-Nguka? Hope I spelt it right!
