If you are lactating its likely clogged milk ducts. You should remove them; pull them out, nurse your baby, pump, whatever you must do. Warm moist heat such as a shower and massage help too. Clogged ducts can lead to mastits, a nasty painful infection of the breast.

However, if its while bumps of skin on the areold they are called montgomrey;s tubercules and they are perfectly normal, especially in pregnancy.

After I had my daughter this happened to me. I don't know if it was exactly the same but it kind o hurt and it felt like the milk was a bit clogged. As gross as this may sound, I picked them out, it hurt but after they were out I felt so much better and the milk flowed better too. Check with your doctor to be sure that it isn't an infection or anything, I just did that because the nurses were always busy and it hurt bad.

sounds like milk glands are swelling a bit.

If it's just a couple, it just might be oil glands. No big deal at all.

uh, that happens to women who are producing milk,, those are milk ducts, it just must be clogged.

Well.. if you are pregnant, it could be slight secretions of what will be breastmilk.
