He wants to get married asap because he's went a long time without a woman and he wants to make up his time he lost with with her. I told her she needs to take it slow - she doesnt know what he did while he was locked up and now she's mad at me - she said he didn't do anything on the down-low, because he would have told her? She's 42 and said that men come a dime a dozen these days and she needs to hold on to what she got.
Did i go overboard in saying too much?? or should I have left well enough alone?

I dont think you went overboard at all! and as a friend your just looking out for her. To marry a guy so soon after he is just getting out of prison is gona be her mistake. 15 yrs is a long time she's going to have to get to re-know this guy... Hopefully she'll come to her senses and put it off for awhile. Dont be surprised she calls you up looking for a shoulder to cry on.

You have a right to protect your sister. A dude in prison for 15 years... you and I both know what he's been up to. Does your sister have very low self esteem? Try to build it up. If that doesn't work, take her out and get her drunk and of course screwing the first guy who hits on her (which has to be better than the inmate, right).

Fifteen years so she must not have that good of a man in the first place. You have every right to state your opinion, expecially if its your friend. She be crying on your shoulder when she finds out the truth about him, because odds are he did something while he was locked up. Good luck!

your question says alot. your girlfriends boyfriend? if it is your girlfriend, i would assume it is your girlfriends X boyfriend. she sounds like she doesnt respect men very much at this point in her life and you might be better off without her. she has been keeping in touch w/him while u 2 were together? she feels he would have told her "everything"? if she has led u to believe you 2 were an item, you have the right to question her intimacy w/this person. i havent heard all sides so dont take my answer too seriously. what does your gut tell you?

I'm not fully understanding. If this is your current gf and she's been staying in-touch with her ex-boyfriend who is in prison for 15 yrs, then perhaps that is the person her heart is connected to. If he is the one that she wishes to spend her life with then who can tell her different? It's all up to her. But with that said, I think you should consider where you stand in all this as well.

You were being her friend. When she's filing for a restraining order and divorce she will apologize to you.
Didn't do anything "on the down low" during 15yrs of prison...yeah

Head for the hills and don't interact with her anymore! She's bad news and trouble is going to follow her and whomever she's involved with.
