I would avoid using traditional kohl/kajal recipes as they contain high lead levels. They have been linked to lead poisoning and lead intoxication. Complications of these conditions include anemia, growth retardation, low IQ, convulsions, and in extreme cases, death. A nice alternative is MAC eye kohl in Smolder which goes on nice and smooth. For staying power I will go over it with a dark smoky eyeshadow such as Laura Mercier in Black Smoke and use a q-tip to dab excess. Then if you want you can brush underneath the eye with a translucent powder to get rid of any loose particles.

i have always had that exact same project. I heard some concepts about it, yet under no circumstances fairly tried yet, you are able to placed eyeliner on, and then keep on with a black eyeshadow over the lining to set it, so it gained't flow or smudge.
