I am from California and thinking about moving to Texas. I am 27, single, and Asian American. Which city would have more career opportunities as well as a decent nightlife? Thanks!

Houston, definitely. Although right now with all the katrina evacuees still there, im not sure if its a safe place. I lived there for a year and loved it. It's a wonderful place to go shopping (check out the galleria) and the nightlife is awesome. My favorite club is belvedere.

Both are decent, but Dallas-Fort Worth is probably more like LA than Houston. It's a huge sprawling megalopolis with lots of big wide highways. Houston is more compact, especially for a Texas city. Hope you like steaks and country music!
