Yes I certainly do! But not the fantasies portrayed in movies and television. I am Pecti-Witan (aka Hedge Witch, not Wiccan) a practitioner of "the Old Religion", and have been for many, many years. Nothing flashy about it. we are fairly simple people with "abilities" that everyone has, ours are just honed and utilized. Lots of research and practice. There is a lot to learn when you are dealing with herbal, mineral and candle magick.
BTW I do read tarot cards, rune stones and utilize a number of other "fortune telling" tools but would NEVER charge anyone for anything I do! Besides, I do not do "readings" or "cast spells" for others on demand. That sounds more like a carnival ruse!

I sure do. I was always drawn to stories about witches, but only learned that they were real (in the form of both Wiccans and non-Wiccan magic users) in my late 20's. Then I began reading about them--I especially recommend "The Truth About Witchcraft Today" by Scott Cunningham. Eventually, I became one. So I do believe.

witches are very real. They are people who use magic[k]/witchcraft to create change within their lives. This is nothing like TV or movies or Charmed.... Magic[k] is using your personal energies and the energies around you and willing them to create change. Any one can be a witch with proper study and devotion. People who practice the religion of Wicca or other [Neo]Pagan religions call themselves witches because they use magic[k]/witchcraft to create change in their lives. Spells are similar to prayer only slightly different in the way that spells are more direct, like a demand almost. Using your energy to make something happen. When a prayer is putting your desire into the hands of God/Goddess/Higher Power and requesting that he/she/it/they help make your desired request happen. I hope this helps!

Also Wicca is not the same thing as Witchcraft at all. Witchcraft is non religious any one can be a witch. Wicca is a religion however. They use magic[k] and the craft as a part of their religion Most(not all) Wiccans are Witches but not all Witches are Wiccan...or Pagan for that matter. Witchcraft is not a religion it's a spiritual tool.

Nothing wrong with witches, My Grandma could remove a wart with an old piece of string, and a few choice words. they are real, most assuredly. Peace, love, and joy to all.
