would the speakers here, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16836131011 , work on my tv? the the tv is within a year old. its an rca

It depends on your television's inputs and those speaker's wires. If all it needs are the two red/white cables, then you should be set.

It depends on your TV's output jacks. If you have three (left/right) outputs, one for every input jack in the rear of the subwoofer, you should have no problem. If you don't, what yo will have to do is split the RCA audio out jacks with a 1 male to 2 female 'Y' adapter so you can get signal to every input jack in the rear of the subwoofer. You will needat least four of these, because you'll need to split the signal from another split adapter's signal. Personaly I wouldn't buy it no matter how low the price is. That's what i don't like about it. I would try something like this brand http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=5376201&type=product&productCategoryId=cat03049&id=1051826208094 They're simple and reliable, But if you want to get that one, you already know how to hook it up.
