professors that work at State Universities have their salaries on the internet. I found it once for my profs at EWU in Washington State because it is public record since they work for the State. I don't think any K-12 teacher's salaries would be public ... but I don't know. Keep up the google searching.

I don't know if you can find out one particular teacher's salary, but you can probably find out the salary schedule for your district just by asking at the school district office.

If you live in the U.S., you may also be able to go on-line to your state's department of education website and look up data about your particular school and school system. (This works in Indiana; I'm assuming that all states have similar DOE websites.)

The Department of Education for your state has a list of all county salaries by BA degree and MA and PH.D. degrees. There are also step increases so unless you know your teacher's step level you can't pinpoint it exactly but you can get a ballpark idea.
