Does anyone feel like thier parents love thier brother or sister more than them. Do your parents compliment your sibling more, do they buy them more gifts, & do they always compare you to them - hinting that you should be more like your sibling.

No , i don't think there is any possibility for any parents to diffrentiate between kids , but what i believe there are some times one child behaves more good and shows more passion to his parents or more clever in his studying or more sociable with his reltives , so i think we have to check all our behaviours and how we treated things specially with eldies , try to judge urself before others can do , good luck

I think my parents love me and my brother the same. We were always treated the same. However I have seen some parents favor a child over other siblings.... I know some parents love their kids the same. n

Yes! I have always resented my brother because he got all the attention.

Brother always got praised, bragged about. He graduated college the same year I graduated high school. His picture went on display on top of the piano. Mine got shoved into a cabinet.

My mother once even told me that my brother was the only one of her four kids who "turned out okay." When I pointed out that I had grown up to be a good wife and mother, it took her a full minute to concede, "Well, okay. Two of my kids turned out ok."

My sister hated my brother's guts because my folks totally ignored her needs. Ignored her even more than they ignored me. They only gave her attention when she came home drunk.

My parents actually told me that they had a favorite and it wasn't me. My mom is proud of her first born son. She always says he's her favorite. The amazing thing is that he treats her the worst. She buys him the most, and always compares everything the rest of us do to him.

Its sad, but it does happen, but for me, I love my children the same across the board. Yea, maybe one might give me more or less problems than the other, and they are different in habits, friends, music, hobbies, and many other tihings, but they are my life and I love them all the same, all the same..!!!!

It varies from family to family. My family is "neutral" to us children and I feel that we are all loved no matter what age gap we are in. I guess I am lucky to have this family.Good luck.

I think its bound to happen. Put however many people in a room. Even if you are related, you will not like them all.

Not always, but first born has that special part in their heart, therefore they get a little better treatment.

Always, always. I know my Mom likes my sister better. My sister is her mini-me. Looks just like her, acts just like her. It used to drive me crazy but now I just feel like they deserve each other.
