theres nothing wrong with having a rival as long as both sides can keep things civil. they both seem like they're good enough guys to keep from trash talking each other, at least for the most part. lol.
but, i think Brady should be seated in that #1 spot. but hey, if you gotta be #2 to someone, Manning should be in the top dog slot, its no thing to be rated just below a great player like that.

The improvement of the Colts' performance isn't because of Manning, well, in the playoffs. He's thrown 5 picks in the last 2 games. It's the play of the defense. They've suddenly toughened up and are playing better than they have all season...right on time. I do think Manning is by far the best technician, analyst, passer, and is like another offense coordinator of all QB's in the NFL. He's a one-of-a-generation QB.
Brady is a winner, period. He's plays his best in pressure situations. If he beats Indy and Manning, he'll secure his place in the Hall of Fame. I wouldn't want any other QB in football on my team in a big game!
They fuel a competitive spirit not only among themselves, but with the media and fans because they are who they are. Manning HAS to win a big one. This year might be the season. Even tho' he's a shoo-in for the HOF, he'll probably get every vote if and when he wins his ring. It will be fun watching the Pats vs Colts and Manning vs Brady. Can't ask for too much better entertainment.

they are the 2 biggest rivals right now. but in the history of the nfl there have been greater. Tom Brady and Petyton Manning off the field are friends, and calls each other and e-mail each other. in the past there are some QB rivals that would have killed each other if they saw each other in the streets.

They are both proven winners (Manning in the reg season), they are generally considered the 2 best at their position in this era, AND they have had many epic matchups in the reg season and playoffs in the last 5 years or so.
Also, people just simply like watching the best pkay the best! Football at the highest level on earth! It's like the Yanks/ Red Sox in baseball...
