Basically, you would need to change the gear ratios for more speed. This would be best done by changing the size of the drive pulleys. Reverse them. large one on the motor, small one on the transmission shaft. I wouldn't advise this for one simple reason, center of gravity. The drive is to high for any appreciable speed. The starting torque could throw you off, or turn the ex-tractor over. I would remove the high seat, the mower deck, of course, and change the angle of the steering wheel. Depending on the size of the driver, the frame might need to be stretched a bit. Cut the frame in two, and weld in new steel to rejoin the 2 pieces with the added steel that is wide enough for the desired added length. Compare the lawn mower frame Length, to that of a go-kart. Make note of the differences of Length, engine placement, controls placement and the general configuration of the 2. This will give you an idea of how to make your modifications.
