I believe we are all responsible for people who are less fortunate that ourselves.
I too have had to pinch Penny's and do without things I wanted at times. But it didn't make me bitter.

Not all homeless are addicts. Some are just good, down on their luck, honest people.

I, am not personally responsible for the homeless situation in this country.....State and Federal government agencies are!!! Write your senators and congressmen, and ask them to take a pay cut...ask them to not write off just about anything. ask why we are sending space ships and satellite's out into space at the cost of trillions of dollars when they should take care of the people here....ask them what your asking of us here....When my kids were little, my husband and I scrounged, I have very rich family and they only do for the ones who don't need it. 100 thousand dollar weddings my 2 cousins had, my grandparents paid for them...They didn't like my mom, and my father was a greedy man back then, so my sister and I never got the gifts they did at all..I have been homeless, my sister has been homeless. .. I know what being hungry is, it was a very long time ago, but I know..I washed clothes in a bath tub because I had no money, I went to the grocery store with 40 dollars to feed a family of 4,till the next paycheck!... so don't include me as part of the problem...
