There is a great little company out there called "Days of Wonder" that makes board games I love. The first one that comes to mind is Ticket to Ride and Ticket to Ride: Europe.
Second to that are:
Tsuro
Hex, Hex (really a card-type game)
Pirate's Cove
Zombies (although very time consuming)
Imaginiff
Visual-eyes
Gouda, Gouda
Puerto Rico
and the card games:
Big Aisle, Small Cart
Munchkin et.al
Lunch Money/Beer Money
and any Steve Jackson game

My fav board game has always been Clue, and every different version of the game that's been put out. About 20 years ago I bought a version called "Clue: Master Detective:". It was a bigger version of the original. It was totally awesome. I still have it. I also liked playing Pay Day. If there's a big group of people around I like Scattergories.

I would say the Deluxe Skip Bo is my favorite game-that is played on a board..Have played it for many years..they dont have it here in the United Kingdom but when I married an Englishman, I brought it here and introduced it to his family and friends-now its a favorite and have been back to the states and brought more decks back with me, so they can enjoy the game too, which they certainly do..

I like business games too! Some of my favorites are: Acquire, Union Pacific, Stephenson's Rocket, Power Grid. They don't take as long as Monopoly and they're more strategic. You can look them up at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/

I love Monopoly, Scrabble, Snakes and Ladders, Checkers, and LIFE! LIFE is probably my all time favorite! It's like building your pretend life from luck! The absolute best!-Then Scrabble!--I play it all of the time with my mom! I actually got 42 points from one word!

Of course my favorite board games are Scrabble and Boggle as I love most all word games. Love to do computer word games as well on Yahoo and Pogo. I love a challenge.

My first answer would have simply been "Scattegories"...but I like board games so I'd be happy to play most of them. Just wish we did it more often!
I don't like the fact that Monopoly can take DAAAAAAAYYYYS!
