Depo can horribly confuse your body. While the shot is working, it's like your cycle is spinning around in circles really fast, and when you stop you're still dizzy, if that makes sense. Give it some time, and if you're really worried go have yourself a chat with your ladie's doc *the gynocologist* as she/he will know all you need.

I was on depo for 6 months and after i have my baby i won't be going back on it. I still had bleeding when it was time for my period. The last month i was on it i had my period for about a month if not longer. I then got a uti as a result of this. My hair started to fall out. Since stopping depo i have heard a lot of people have a bad experiece with depo.

I took my final depo shot in October 2005. I finally got a period in June 2006, although it wasn't until Dec 06 that it finally started to regulate and start coming regularly.
I never had any of the constant bleeding/spotting issues either, but I've heard of many people that have. And I had the constant cramping too.
Good luck to you. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting that chemical out of your system. It takes quite a bit of time.

Well, I know I was on Depo for a year, and afterward the cramps were worse. It took a year to get me back on a regular menstration cycle, but I didn't have one for two months straight. If it's heavy, I'd check with you ob/gyn to make sure nothing's wrong, but if it's just spotting or a little heavier than that I would imagine that your body is still getting rid of the excess uterine lining that builds up with Depo use.

My last shot of Depo was may 2006 and it wore off 14th August 2006 and I still have not had a period. I am wanting to conceive and am pretty down as I am not ovulating. I Guess after depo your body either ceases your period or in your case continues in excess. Chin up it can't get any worse.

Ive heard about that happening to people. I was only on the shot once and I spotted the entire three months so I never took it again. Good luck, Im sure it just has to work itself outa your system.
