Yes I do think people can figure out when one is a racist. But people tend to confuse a racist and a bigot. Some people will label a bigot as a racist. A racist believes that biological differences between different races determine cultural or individual achievement and that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own.A bigot is also devoted to their prejudices even when these views are challenged or proven to be false

Often not. Most racist are born into racist famillies and surroundings, therefore they are often blind to what is wrong with their way of thinking. It is not until they leave that environment and venture out into a cultural setting is when they have to face the ridiculousness of being racist with other intelligent people from all races.
Of course if they never venture outside of the trailer park...they never are confronted or mentally challenged enough to question their beliefs.

oh lord! please do not listen to that other heather girl...not all "rednecks" spell like her, actually i dont know anyone that spells that bad!
im from the south and i have seen tons of racists people, and i have to say that some of the stuff that she said like marrying or dating outside of the race is a load of BS! i dunno where that girl is from but she must not be from NC, personally where i come from there are some trouble areas and some really stupid people that cannot look past "how tan" our skin is compared to one another. then there are people who are just "colorblind" when it comes to skin and see the inner person!!

and im not exactly sure what she thinks of the confed. flag but i know what it means to me and im pretty sure it means the opposite to her!

but to answer your question usually you can pretty much tell by the way the person talks and reacts around another group of people, thats how i can tell someone is racist...

To be a racist is to have blind hatred for someone who is not like you. It is based on fear and intimidation of what one does not know. It is the deepest level of ignorance.
When you feel hate or bad thoughts about someone based only on their race, color, or creed, you are a racist and ignorant.

Of course, by default. If one is not accepting of all races being equal, she is racist.
