I grew up in the north, but have spent the past few years in the south. I think it's difficult to determine the "best place to live" since we all have things that we look for. In my opinion though, I love the south and have no future plans to live up north ever again. The weather here is amazing, the people are amazing, and the lifestyle is much more laid back. While I do miss the snow in Pennsylvania, I'm not complaining about the fact that it's 80 degrees in the middle of January in Savannah right now!

In my opinion, I think that Salt Lake City is the best place to live.
I came from a small town in missouri with a population of less that 6,000 people.

Salt Lake has some of the best job opportunities in the world, some of the best living conditions, and if you are looking to raise a family, then you will love it here.

I hope that this helps in whatever decision that you have to make.

In the UK - Edinburgh. Socially an open city where if you go into a pub and your not talking to someone within twenty minutes there is something seriously wrong with your social skills.

Outside the UK I'd definitely say Stockholm. Looks magical around Xmas and my partner comes from there.

The best place to live will always vary from person to person as we are all individuals. I suppose as home is where the heart is then that will be your favourite place. For me home would be Blackpool as that is where I felt the most at home but I also like Belfast.
