I don't know much about computers and need to get into my hard drive to retrieve some MSN messages. By the way I have not been saving my messages so will they be there? The more details the better because I am lost as to how to do this. Also if you delete something from the recycle bin is it gone forever? Thank you

If you did not save the messages, they are gone. You can't get them back as there really isn't a "history" you can look at.

If you delete a file from the "recycle bin" it may or may not actually be gone. If your system has not reused that space on your hard drive, you can "undelete" the file.

You can find good utilities to do that type of work at any good computer store.

2 concepts right here ... purchase an exterior demanding-power case and insert the oldchronic into it ...then plug the case into any accessible USB port ..... or deploy thechronic into the recent case as a 2ndchronic (you should set the little plastic "jumper pins" on the rear of thechronic to slave otherwise not something will take position) and use the oldchronic as further inner storage If the former demanding-power is defective ... the safest decision as to not damage your new pc is to flow with the exterior enclosure ... solid success :) P.S files retrieval organizations value thousands of greenbacks to fix files from demanding-drives ... if it is lifeless ...it is lifeless ... decrease your losses ... for a small outlay (approx $30.00) the exterior enclosure is nicely worth a attempt
