i just read that he said it was because they were celebrating on the Charger's field, that they were "disrespectful and showed no class", but have you ever seen a football game that didnt feature players from both teams jumping up and down and celebrating throughout the enitre game?

is he just upset because it was such a tight game? or were the players doing something specific that was disrespectful that i didnt see?

i didnt realize that they were doing the "Merriman dance". i can see how he might get angry at that. but, when you're a professional athlete, and you have a teammate that does that dance like that somewhat frequently, which i'm sure some other teams feel is disrespectful, isnt it something you should just shake off? is it that big of a deal?

and i'm not claiming that belichik is a great guy... the camera shove wasnt cool.

This is completely blown out of proportion. LT was a sore loser. The Chargers were over confident going into that game. They had no business to be. Regardless of your season record, regardless of how many probowlers you have, you're going up against a dynasty. You're competing against a team that is regularly the underdog and comes out and shows everyone, and thats what happened on Sunday. All week, everyone was doubting the pats. The Chargers, already making superbowl party plans. NOT ALLOWING PATS FANS TO BUY TICKETS ON TICKETMASTER! They thought they had that game in their pocket. All week the pats just bit their lip and said, hey, we'll see who wins. And now, they finally got to blow off some steam. To say they are classless? This team is known for being exceptionally humble. ESPECIALLY Bellicheck. The camera shove was deserved. These cameramen want to get in there to try to get the best shot. They shouldn't be at the point where he can't even get to Mangini, THAT was disrepectful to the coaches. So they celebrated a win, big deal? They took an hour to enjoy it, and right now they are back to work at how they are going to beat another amazing team. LT may be a great player, but he has def shown his ignorance this week.

i think he felt very accomplished in the season and all that was left was to go win the super bowl, or at least the lamar hunt trophy. but he did not so he lashed at the patriots

as disrespectful as mimicking the the merriman dance he should realize that people always do it. Chad Johnson has copied the Merriman dance too. multiple players mimic the Ray Lewis dance. T.O back when he was with the niners did the dirty bird then made a cut throat gesture. no one went out at the press and complained. L.T did not complain about Chad Johnson doing the Merriman dance.
i think it was an excuse to say something bad about the patriots.

but even classy players lose their cool. Peyton Manning did it last year in the Championship game against the Steelers

warren_bu...'s "complete lack of class" charge against the Patriots is hilarious. Belichick's incident with the camera man was isolated and cannot be connected with the rest of his team. As far as the post game behavior goes, the only one who showed a complete lack of class was Mr. MVP Ladanian Tomlinson. He's mad about a behavior that's supposed to mock one of his teammates behavior? If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. In other words, if Merriman is going to act like an egotistical (explitive), everytime he gets a sack then he deserves to get mocked when he loses.

I can understand most think the way they do, but is old school fans who watched football since their childhood in the 70's , many things have changed
winners didn't taunt and tease flags were thrown for un sportsmen like conduct, this I want a be a thug thing or I'm entitled to my 15 minutes of fame wasn't tolerated
even bling bling wasn't allowed to be worn
their talent and the final score was enough to let every one know they won , they don't have to cheapen it

Don't forget that Belichick shoved a cameraman, proving that he had no class. LT was probably thinking about this when he made his completely accurate comments. I'm glad LT called out the patriots on their complete lack of class.

LT was also upset because the Pats were mimicking Merriman's dance.

I say he was upset about the loss; don't get me wrong, no team wants to see an opponent celebrate on their home field, but the fact that it was a playoff game made things worse for LT.

What difference does it make? TO danced on the Cowboy's star and they ended up giving him 25 million. So if you are an NFL player, the best thing you can do is attract attention to yourself in any way possible.
