I doubt that we have the manpower to actually invade another country anytime soon. Never the less, i believe that an aerial military campaign against Iran is becoming more of a possibility.
I don't think the bombing of Iran will eradicate all its nuclear capabilities but it will seriously delay its nuclear ambitions.
The international response of course to such a move will not be nice.
An invasion of Syria would be a lot easier militarily, but will cause even greater anger and hatred in the Middle East because it will be seen as being done in direct cooperation with Israel. As for bombing from the air, i really don't think there is much to bomb there. Syria is causing a lot of trouble in Lebanon, that's pretty much it. On the other had, severing the hand that feeds Hezbollah would be a great thing.
As for Somalia, wel,l Ethiopia has just done that for us.
The only other place would be North Korea and i really think that action against that crazy government is long overdue, perhaps even too late.

Iran and syria will fall under the iron fist of Bush, American troops will make incursions over the borders under some concocted tale as they did In Cambodia and the wars will rage and quite possibly expand. I find it hard to beleive that China who has been building up troops and updating weaponry will sit idly by as they have vested interests in Iran which is mainly oil.

It is not a question of if but when! you can park your 57 chevy because the oils supplies will be a mear trickle.
Remarks about Invading Canada is indeed ludicrous since the United States owns most of Canada

Canada. It has far better beer than those other countries. Iran is our biggest worry. We don't have the manpower to invade Iran, nor do we want to. The only military possibility is a strategic guided non nuclear or nuclear missile attack on their nuclear sites. This might not be effective since they are spread out and are often deep underground so that aerial reconnaissance would be of little use. Let us hope and pray that this administration has no further intentions of invading another country. Two is enough.

You would think North Korea, but usually we take the easy route...Unless whoever makes the new decision actually thinks North Korea is a threat, we need the GD oil!!!! jk...and Canada is neutral, so we are stuck in the Asian and/or Western Asian
department given the options listed above and to make things easier for those already over there

they favor iran's oil, yet they recognize Iran would strive against back, which will't invade. that would nicely be reachable because the U. S. is already next door in Iraq and could rigidity for the period of, yet when you consider that Iran refuses to disarm like iraq did, the U. S. is stumped. (there is oil in Canada, and both the Canadian military's tanks are in the shop for restoration immediately, and all 50 of its squaddies are in Afghanistan, so as that would nicely be an a lot less complicated objective).

Pssssst! What country do you live in? We are coming to get you! You better hide under your bed with your teddy bear!

Over there, over there, send the word, send the word, to beware, the yanks are coming, the yanks are coming, and we won't be back till it's over, over there!

Only the ones that threaten our people and our way of life.
