to the guy who does not know what an aircon....try google
to the others, thanks....another question, are there any sprays that can help with the smell....sprays that are specifically used for aircon?

remove the bad water on the bottom of the drip pan, thats where the smell comes from

The most common bad odor comes from mold and slime in the evap drain pan leveled drain water, often has dead mouse in it as well!

give it a thourgh clean and use a cloth with a little bit of vanilla essence on it and wipe the area that stinks and the vent s and see how u go good luck

I clean mine twice a year!(Swamp and A/C)

get the dead animal out of it. clean the filter
