Am I a Vampire?
Well....in order to answer this question hun, you must first ask: What is a Vampire? and then you need to know, What does NOT make a Vampire.
A Vampire is simply a being that can't create enough of it's own spiritual energy to support itself, so it must get it from another source. They are believed to have a hole or damaged spot in their astral/spiritual body. This is a lot like a paper cup with a hole in it. You continue to pour water into it but it slowly leaks all of it out. No matter how much water you pour into it, the cup never stays full. This is the technical definition of what exactly a Vampire is. Though what it means to be a Vampire is something we all must figure out for ourselves.
Once you understand what is a Vampire it's very important to know exactly what a Vampire isn't. A Vampire is not:
1.Someone who drinks, likes or is obsessed with blood.
Blood is just one way Vampire get what they need.... LIFE. Vampires need life force energy to re vitalize themselves of the energy they lose.
2.Undead,immortal/ageless, or inhuman.
It's very important you realize that Vampires(just as all other Otherkin) ARE Human. Physically, mentally and spiritually (unless they are Otherkin/Therian...but I'll save that tail [sic] for another time) No matter anyone tells you if you are a Vampire, you are still human.
3.Seductive Sexy beings
4.Monsters
5.Anything like you see in movies/the media.
A real Vampire is none of these things. Once you understand what is and isn't a Vampire you must understand yourself. Ask yourself,What lead you to believe you may be a Vampire? If you suspicion is based solely on blood or an attraction to it...you probably aren't a Vampire but don't let me stop you from searching. Do you want to be a Vampire Simply wanting to be a vampire or like them doesn't make you one. Do I need an alternative source of energy and Do I have trouble making my own energy? are very important questions to ask yourself and answer honestly. Don't Bullshit yourself because you want to feel cool or special or are looking for an escape or want to feel sexy. If you want those things this isn't what you should be looking to. If you lie to yourself on this you aren't comfortable with yourself and you need to fix that. Lying about Vampirism will only make so much more miserable.
I wont have a list of vampiric "symptoms' on here to avoid false assumptions. So many people read these lists of [mostly normal human behavioral] "symptoms" and assume. "Hey I'm a Vampire". It lead people down the wrong path and they don't actually look into it. Symptoms and abilities do not make a Vampire. If you do feel you're a Vampire (especially if you have read a list and do have many of these "symptoms") you should really go get checked out by a doctor. Vampirism is very similar to a number of medical illnesses (for example Anemia, Porphyria) and you really need to make sure you arn't seriously ill. Once you do this if Doc nothin's up then you may be a Vampire. But don't Take this lightly constantly search into yourself and learn about this condition before deciding that you are. Remeber simply feeling the symptoms or being tired fatigued an low energy doesn't make you a vampire...even if you do feel better around people. It could be that you are mundanely out of energy by means of not getting something you're used to getting. Make sure to take this into account also. just because you are weak or tired and being around people makes you feel better or brings you up(this is very common among "mundanes" as well) doesn't make you a psi vampire.
Finally don't ask others if you're a Vampire they can't help you in the way you want them to. I know it is SO cliché but Only YOU can truly tell if you're a Vampire...Just don't BS yourself on it. ~Nox
So please be cautious in this time...only know will know what you are but this isn't something you can find or decide over night. You need to do a lot of research and soul searching and medical checking. This is a big deal...and can get unpleasant at times. It's a spiritual condition that takes commitment and seriousness to tend to so please take care during this time. you very well could be awakening.

When you feel depressed or low on energy, do you tend to somewhat purposely itrritate other people or "egg-on" people who are arguing with each other, even if you know that you are not going to 'win' the argument?
And then do you feel calm, almost-excited, almost-happy and not hungry in the least?
When people are in need of healing, can you sense it?
Have you ever spontaneously touched someone when you weren't 'hungry' and then they just suddenly 'felt better'?
If your answers are 'yes', you might want to pick up the book on Vampirism by Michelle Bellange (Bellanger?) and find out for sure.
You might also want to find someone with some kind of chronic health problem....these people heal from their current sytems but not from their actual problem, and then overload their own system with 'symptom healing energy' to the extent that it gets in the way of them beings able to do anything normally including going on toward healing the cause. When they are partially drained by a Psychic Vampire they feel weaker but clearer, and after a bit of rest they can go on to a brief period of 'normal' physicality. They need to have a Psychic Vampire in their life, whether they know it or not.
If you are, it's no cause for despair, you may be wanted and/or needed by people for whom 'official western medicine' has had very few satisfying answers.

Interesting--normally you don't hear people thinking *they* are psychic vampires, since it's not a cool thing to be (unlike so-called "real" vampires).
A psychic vampire sucks energy instead of blood out of people. If you find you're tired unless you're around other people, you might be one. If friends complain that they get really tired after spending time with you, you might be one.

Do some reading on http://www.sanguinarius.org and you might want to check out http://sanguin.org as well. Being a sanguinarian and all, I'm not super knowledgeable on psy vampires, but those links should help you. Oh, and don't be intimidated by the application process on sanguin.org, it's just to keep trolls out.

you might be, i know of 2 psychic vampires.
They live of your energy. You feel tired and drained when you around them. Do you offer people material things in exchange for favours? That is usually a trait of such a vampire.

Well You either are a psy vamp or your not.
Like someone said in a previous answer if you feel tired unless your around people or people complain about being tired when they are around you, you might just be one.
You need to seek help from a vampire group, wether it be a sang or pys and you need to get help on how to control it. I have the same problem.
But yes you need to talk to someone because it can become serious.

I you don't intentionally try and suck the life out of your friends and your intentions are pure and from love, you have nothing to worry about. I wouldn't worry about it. Just try to do your best and be a good friend.
