well, that's more personal than what I've been getting lately...different lawyers in East Africa offering to send me up to 10 million dollars if I cash the check and invest it i get to keep 20%....I've gotten eight different emails on this in the last six weeks.

I just check spam on the mail options bar.

Get the IP address from the headers in the email. If you are under 18 and they are older, there's a real problem here and you need to go to an adult.

If you are an adult, and I see that you are female, they have too much personal information about you and it may even be someone you know. Be concerned, but not paranoid.

In any event, they are not anonymous. The IP from the headers can track them and identify them. If its spam, just block future emails.

You can always report all the spam you receive to Spamcop (see link below). Anyone online should be reporting spam when you can and be alert and aware regarding the incoming messages and the potential risk.

Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck.

Most likely you would have to be able to prove harassment with the emails. You should look into it if you feel threatened.

It sounds like they are stalking you.

Contact your IP and have them trace this person. Make a police report.

It depends on what you can and cannot prove, and see if its fits any type of criminal offense in your state?????
