I'm not looking for a definition persay--found that already. Anyone with personal experience/knowledge? Here's what I have so far:

1.

1. (interj.) A phrase used to express happiness, or when an event happens that seems completely random, and one desires to be obnoxious, they may find it is fun to yell out this interjection.

Origins: From the popular 1967 Beatles song, I Am the Walrus.

actually the phrase in the Beatles song is Goo Goo Gajoob.
The Beatles were heavily into LSD in those days so who knows what it means.
I am the walrus contains many questionable phrases such as Johns I buried Paul/cranberry sauce statement at the end of the song.

Yep that's the Beatles for you.... I heard the track loads when I was a kid and even as an adult it still makes no sense to me!!! I guess it's just a generational thing.... and a little bit to do with the drugs they were on at the time!!!! ;-)
