Red Skelton was on T.V. when I was a kid. He is said to be the last great clown (in the spirit of Emit Kelly).
Listen to this clip describe patriotism. I can't imagine any contemporary political leader (Democrat or Republican) describe patriotism as eloquently as this clown.

The problem are the people.
People have gotten so dumbed down that the really can't think on their own.
Can you believe people waited on lines for days to get a video game?
Can you believe people watch Donald Trump on TV?
And the politicians have to talk to voters on their level. And it gets dumbed down again.
Except for George Bush. He truly is an idiot.
