do a file/save as/xxxx.mht

to save it as a single file, not as a HTML

that should do it.

those boxes are space holders, a link to the image storage out on the Internet. a stored file may not be able to connect to them.
that is how an image that can not be found looks

hope it helps

You don't need to save the whole page, if you want only one image, right-click, save picture as, then name the pic,
Make sure you save the pic somewhere you can find it, like the desktop! This way you will be able to see on-line and off!

As for a whole page you should go to file, save as, ( the title of the current page you are looking at should appear) the save it to the desktop or wherever, then the page should be viewable on and off line!

You have to save the pictures in the same directory structure as the HTML page you are saving. for example:

html is

Then you have saved your HTML document to:

C:\mydocs\my_html

You will have to save the picture to C:\mydocs\my_html\images\image1.gif

Or just go into the html document with notepad an cange the path there.

You have to save them as jpegs. Why are you trying to save them as bitmaps anyway?
