You can chat with other people within a certain area of you who also have ds. It's pretty useless because you just go over to them and physically talk to them. It would work alot better if used the wi-fi capability.

If you are by a computer with internet and they have a ds lite with internet then you can chat but FIRST READ THE BOOK! That came with your game or ds!

Its a way that people can talk to each other on the ds. if u know someone with a ds u can send notes and draw pictures to each other. i dont know how to do it u should be able to call nintendo and ask them about it. hope this is helpful.

its a system in where you can chat to up to 16 peoplebut in a range of 20 meters
