well, i'm the kind of person that doesn't really dream a lot but a couple months ago i actually dreamed of something that came true. weird thing is, most dreams that i remember having or have, are the ones that happens to me like in the future or something that happened to me before, Weird! well, last night i dreamed my guy bestfriend that's in another country across the globe right now, that me and him were hugging.it's not that it's a weird thing but weird thing is i felt it real and emotionally intense. it's not the usual thing i would do and it's creeping me out! I'm scared that it might come true too but i don't know why i should be scared.Maybe it's the fact that other people that I hug in a dream feels nothing but hugging the air. I don't really know what that dream means

The clues to your question are in your answer. You said that your dreams sometime come true and that you are afraid of these intense feelings. It is my assumption that you secretly want this to happen. The fear you feel is whether he will feel with the same intensity as you, or said another way, does he feel the same about you as you do about him. I say tell him and find out. It's worse not knowing. It may seem a bit awkward at first if the feelings aren't returned, but your friendship will survive it. However, if he is feeling the same way, who knows what sparks may fly.

The dreams you are refering to, the ones where they come true, are called precognitive dreams.

It is possible that this dream is indeed a precognitive dream, seemings as how you say you only have these. Yet it is also possible that this is just a regular dream. Every human dreams whether they know it or not, it is just a fact of remembering it upon awakening.

If I were you I would start a dream journal and write down all the dreams you remember and date when it occured. That way you might be able to see some kind of pattern. It is also nice to look back at some of the details you wrote and realize the importance of them, something you may have overlooked and forgotten about without writing it down. You may be suprised at all the hidden meanings you find.

You dream a lot more than you realize. Some dreams last but a moment and maybe elaborate thoughts and others can last 30 seconds or more. For the most part dreams are the way our brain sets up its filing system - parts of dreams get put away in long or short memory areas. Some dreams are filed away as trash. Open reality conditions can be saved as meeting conclusions - as in your case are ways in which you decide how you would handle the situation. This unknown friend of a friend left you open for a conclusion. You now know you would greet the individual with a hug.

A hug is a very pleasant dream symbol. It suggests love and tenderness. It is also symbolic of comfort and protection. Look at all of the details in your dream and look for the positive meaning. The only time that this dream symbol has negative connotations is if you were to hug or be hugged by a very negative person or something that you consider "evil." Otherwise, it is a sweet and comforting dream symbol.

Were you thinking about him recently? Or before bed? Everyone has different opinions on the meaning of dreams, but most seem to agree that our dreams are our minds acting out what we were thinking about previously.

You probably just miss him. You want him to be there with you. Or, you are just attracted to him, are getting hot.
