Okay, my friends are saying how now the rule changed that if you have your permit for 6 months before your 17th birthday, on your 17th birthday, you get your license already. Is this true? If it is, I will be happy =)

And, what kind of car should I get as a new driver? I don't want to get a new car because if I mess it up, it'll just be useless to buy that car in the first place. Thanks :o)

uh.. no .. no rule changed about that.. all you did was reword the proccess of getting a license

in most states.. at 16 you CAN get a permit...
6 months later, given you finished all the required classes+tests, you can take your driving test, not neccessarily saying you pass... and not neccessarily saying you get your license test scheduled exactly 6 months after you got your permit.

what you just said is 6 months after 16 you can get a license...
and 6 months before your 17 you can get a license...
if you didnt notice... THATS THE SAME THING!

and usually things dont work out perfectly on schedule.. thats why i said 6 months after you get your permit you can get your license.. and not at 16 1/2 you can get your license... just because your 16 1/2 doesnt mean you get a free ticket to getting a license...

i got my permit at 16... because of cercomstances most-every1 gets in their own ways... i didnt get my license till i was like 17 and 3-4 months... im almost 18 and i still cant drive other people in my car..... legally.. *.O lol

get a '96 toyota camry or toyota celica...camry; for too many reasons im too tired to explain for the 500th time... good mileage.. lasts forever...reliable.. dependable... -- theres your 6 word summary... thats my 1st car!!! i already got into a car accident ...without any repairs yet.. and im still going 95 on the highway... the other car is in 30 different pieces in a garage somewhere... lol...camrys cant be stopped!

hope that helps.. goodluck!

If you discover your self uncertain of a course out of your examiner then you're relatively inside your rights to invite for rationalization - I did so whilst navigating a complicated roundabout on my scan (and likewise in part in view that the examiner was once very softly spoken!) and it was once now not a predicament - it is higher to be transparent previously than make the flawed choice. If you suppose you could like somewhat little bit of further train on roundabouts (or some other element of the scan) on your lesson previously then sure, it probably a well proposal to invite your teacher if you'll do that. I was once fretting approximately parallel parking earlier than my scan so we went for a brief force to calm my nerves after which spent the relaxation of the lesson doing parallel parking in distinct places. Other than that, simply force such as you do in the course of your classes - your teacher without doubt thinks you'll force to a risk-free, satisfactory general, the examiner's activity is to deliver a moment opinion of this. Think of it as simply one more lesson (optimistically your last one!), handiest with one more character within the automobile. And well good fortune!

I don't know about your country's rule. But my country rule is not like tis wor.Everyone muz reach 17-year-old in order to learn driving. But be4 your birthday you can go for a road safety class and sit for the exam.If you pass, you should go for a 3 hour theory class and 3 hour practical class. Then, you get L license.I think your friend mean L licence but doesn't mean that you can drive car because once you get L licence,it means that you have to learn to drive car. After a period, you can take driving test for P licence. If you pass then it means that you can start driving.Do you know that driving is not as easy as you think? As driving a car on road regards a person's life.Just use a beetle car lor haha, bcos it is suitable for your speed.

For your first question, find out in your state's driver's manual or call your DMV. In my state, you don't.

For your second question, whatever you can afford to buy. A used car would be best.
