up top tools-browser options-clear urls. close by left click and there gone.

When you go back to the search box just "double click" the empty box and it will show you everything that you have searched for, slide your mouse down over the first one and hit delete and so on, works everytime.

clear your cookies using the "internet options" on the tools menu of your browser. selecting "delete cookies", "delete files" and "clear history" will erase most of the history accessbile to the normal user.

hmmm seems this was just asked! tools->internet options->clear history.

You can delete all the temporary files, cookies, history...without causing any system problems.
