Well, animals are living things, and with all we know, we do not know everything about everything. It's possible animals can actually 'talk' to us. On the other hand, trees and stones, these are inanimate objects, however, it is an ancient idea that spirits lived within them or are represented by things like that. It's not insane to think artistically like this. This leads into bigger questions like "Is there a god?" and this is just one of those unanswerable questions, for now at least.

I'm Pagan, so yes, I do talk to my plants and trees and sometimes the stones. And while they dont' "talk" back in the same way that people do, I do know that I can sense different energies between different trees. They "feel" different to me when they're sick, or injured, or young, etc.

I beleive there are trees that can talk, not rocks
but I can't hear what trees say, it takes a special person to talk to a tree.
then again trees can't talk so no, no talking trees

I've never heard any of these talk,maybe because i didn't listen hard enough,or concentrate to catch a whisper ,but i.m sure thankful to the Creator for these small considerations he has given us.,they make life worth living.

Communication can take different forms. Plants can communicate to each other through chemicals.

my friends science experiment blew up at school and he was delirious for days,at that point he could hear basically anything talk
like when i visited him at the hospital he was asking my shirt if it was ok

my father believed this for many years. aniamls, trees, and even stones "conversed" with him. i thought he was insane. i still do today. do not fall prey to this insanity
