It that's word for things like large epic moments of history that has been passed. Things like from the movie "A.I" where history is shown from the present to the future and onward to the end of Earthly civilization. Or like the history of The Lord of the Rings. I used to think the word was histrionic but I found out that that word means something completely different.

It's the word that movies like "The Fountain" made you feel. Timeless-ish, epic-ish.... grrr, it's on the tip of my tongue. Grand scale passage of time with all milestones, nostalgia, and aesthetics considered.
