The way I see it is...the people with no brains (Liberal or Conservative), are the ones who don't care if WMD's were found or not in Iraq. It's not a Liberal thing...Even many Conservatives are now seeing the truth!
As far as the part of your question about the Kurds, the WMD's used against them by Saddam, were destroyed and verified as such by the UN back in the 90's!
I don't understand why some people keep bringing this up...this is old news and we are in Iraq now...so what needs to happen is, we need to get the job done, bring our troops home and get on with the business of our own Country!
My beliefs are not popular with most of my fellow Democrats but I feel we cannot leave Iraq before that Country is fully stabilized. The USA started something and it must stay until it is finished.
If we leave now, every terrorist in this World will think that it is OK to attack America because America will leave them alone after a while.
I don't agree with the reasons used by Bush to invade Iraq but that too is old news and we must get the job done completely or we will be having to send our Military all over the place in the future. That will cost thousands of more lives!
I'm sure that even some of your fellow Conservatives will disagree with your line of questioning.
I really thought that after the November, 2006 elections were over, this Liberal and Conservative bashing would finally come to an end but I forgot...only people with brains would put the past behind them and at least try to move on...together for the good of this Nation "AND" the ones who give me a thumbs down, are the ones with no brains!

It's not a matter of ever having WMD's. The reason being given for war were that Iraq had WMD's at that time. It was also said that Iraq was harboring al Qaeda operatives. Neither was the case. As such, by using deductive reasoning which is a product that those that have brains and can think for themselves, there was no reason for invading Iraq. This means that the administration lied. George Tenet knew that there were no such reports stating anything that the President was saying. He says that he told Bush and his advisers this. If he is telling the truth, and Bush has not publicly contradicted Tenet, then that means Bush purposely lied to Americans.

That's it "Mr Brains". Don't you let something as trivial as the facts play any part in what you think. You stick to your guns. That's the conservative way. Don't let those liberals with all their fancy book learnin' and their rational thinking stop you from supporting your man George. He did his job defending Alabama from the Viet Cong back in the 70s and now he's not going to back down from this fight. Saddam couldn't fool you and George. He thought if he let inspectors have access to Iraq and they found no weapons we would think there were no weapons. But you and George what with your big brains and all figured it out. If we looked all over Iraq and found no weapons, that could only mean one thing ... the weapons must be hidden. Good thinking! Boy they sure had those liberals fooled. And don't think our boys in uniform aren't grateful for you and George's big brains opening the door for them to get into Iraq. I'm sure they are all waiting to thank you for making this possible. Well all of them except the 3,000 and counting that are already dead. Keep up the good thinking. You're making the world a much better place.

People with brains care that the Bush administration lied to us about the situation. People with brains care that the Bush administration burned a CIA op as revenge for her husband showing the Bush administration had it wrong about the African connection. People with brains care that Iraq had traded the tyrant of Saddam with the tyrant of anarchy.
Oh yes, what the hell are you talking about? People with brains (liberals and conservatives) do care that there were no weapons as mass destruction. Where did you get this that they do not?

I'm sorry. Being a Liberal I'm a little confused.
You say we should talk to the Kurds about Saddam's WMDs.
Should we also talk to the Germans about Auschwitz, to prove how bad they are?
IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO! IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TODAY!
Bush lied us into war saying there was an imminent threat. There was none. End of story.

Here's one for Fisher: Who armed Saddam? Take a good guess. Oh, and who gave the green light to him to invade Kuwait, only to decide it wasn't such a good idea, when the Brits complained? Right again. Oh, and wasn't that rummy shaking Saddam's hand, back in the 80s?
He was just another despot who decided he wouldn't take orders from Washington anymore. East Timor ring a bell? Noriega?

I can't figure out if you are joking or not...people with brains (or half brains or whatever) know there is no WMD's. Hell, even Bush knows that now.

Boy, the libs and demos above me are retarded? They still denied the truth. Bio-weaponry is a WMD. Its a Weapon that causes Mass Destruction. But of course you libs would rather have us sit around while Saddam killed millions. Ohh its not our problem. I see.
