sumtimes u get dis feeling of deja vu....lik uve been der before or been in a similar situation before....when u kno 4 sure dat u hav never been to dat place....vat is d reason 4 dat???

I believe it happens when something appears to be so familiar as to be the same as something you've previously experienced (smell, taste, sight, sound) but can't recall at the moment.
It happens to all of us at one time or another.

Some believe it is tied to smell. Odors are some of the strongest memory inducers; so when a familiar fragrance is detected, it triggers the memory receptors and makes things seem familiar.

If you sense something that is similar to a place you have been before, you get 'deja vu.' I got that in Venice once.

I heard it was when the concious mind melds with the subconsious mind for that split second thus giving the effect of haven't i been here/done that before.

I think it's some sort of problem with your short-term memory becoming long-term memory or something like that so it feels like it's happened before.
