I was walking around the toy store with my son and the soon to be ex this weekend. (We were busy looking at something that we were going to get for his birthday.) This one lady looks at my son and comments "you're a handsome little boy." Then she looks up at me with this naughty smile on her face. I look back at my ex and she has a look that could burn through lead. Our divorce will be final in a matter of weeks and I'm wondering what the big deal is.I flat out encouraged her to start dating again. After all, she stated in her original complaint that I made her life miserable. I find irony in that situation. I mean if she's going to throw me away like toilet paper, what right does she have to be jealous?

She doesn't have a right to be jealous. She just doesn't like the fact that you are getting attention from other women.
She may not want you, but she certainly doesn't want anyone else to want you either.

Sounds like this was an issue before you decided to get divorced. Maybe she had reason to be jealous before, and this brought up old feelings of jealousy. Maybe thay's why she started complaining again.

First mistake, You shouldn't be shopping with your ex. There are still feelings irregardless of a divorce. Your ex still wants to control your every move. Women are just like that. If they can't have you, they don't want anyone else to have you. The truth is that ex's don't want to see their ex husband happy with anyone else.
Just put yourself in her shoes. Would you want to see her happy with anyone else if you still wanted her.
