He threw it straight up into the air. There is initial acceperation from the man throwing it, but it decelerates in the upward direction because of gravity. Once its upward acceleration is equal to the downward acceleration, the object stops. It starts moving down again because gravity is pulling it.

I once threw a egg at someone off of my grandpa's production unit's balcony it basically neglected his head and splattered on his shoes. He appeared up and pronounced my chum and that i giggling and he changed into obviously mad and screaming at us. My cousin and that i about 3 years in the past at a inn were contained in the inn motor vehicle parking zone and got here upon a motor vehicle with an open window and a condom interior the front seat. We took it and went decrease back to our room and crammed it with water and threw it on someone. the condom really hit them. This changed into decrease back in my immature days although I really have matured slightly contained in the resultant years.

He has thrown it straight up, so goes up. all things that go up (except rockets etc) must come down. so it comes down, straight to him.
