I would like to start studying for the Dec 07 CFA exam. I know they change 15 -40% of the cirriculum year to year. Do the cirriculums change for level I June to December. I ll end up calling the CFA institute, but just thought I d get some answers in the mean time.

The curriculum for each calendar year, June & December exams, are the same. So you can't use Dec. 2006 material for June 2007 exam or you'll be studying outdated info. But June 2007 materials can be used to study for Dec. 2007 exam.

No, the CFAI has a testing cycle that runs for a whole year for Level 1. That is, June and December of the same year are the same testing material (not the same test, but same LOS and curriculum). So this June's will be good for this December, but this December's won't be good for next June's test.
