Yes! No browser can protect you from incomming requests. When you sign onto the internet, your computer becomes a fuctional part of the internet and will see hundreds of thousands of requests. Some of them are just looking for un protected systems to get into. Your browser only deals in http situations and won't stop an intruder.

Mozilla does not have a firewall! Mozilla is better protected against browser exploits, but that is the only infection vector that Fx has a slight advantage in.
Without a firewall you are vulnerable to attack through any open ports that have an app with an unpatched vulnerability behind that port.
Use a firewall with any and every browser.

I never knew that Mozilla have got their firewall!! Ensure that they DO have a firewall. And ZoneAlarm is the best by far, so better not replace it.

by using a ways and away, Linux with Firefox outperforms any Win/Firewall/Firefox mixture. in case you should have Win, evaluate a separate community signal splitter (modem field) at each and each pc. Hackers will in trouble-free words see the signal splitter. you'll torrent with the further hardware while the firewall will complicate your information superhighway adventure.

yes you probably should use a firewall with firefox. even though there might be an integrated firewall in firefox, that only covers firefox, and does not cover any other programs that could be sending out information to other people out there. a firewall should cover your whole computer, every port available, except for a selected few that need to be open. so yes you should use a firewall.
