For starters, i would spend as much time as possible remembering times when you got the best nights sleep you ever had. Then, i would sit down, quite my mind, and imagine myself having the best nights sleep i ever had, with beautiful dreams, feeling refreshing in the morning, and eager to start the day.

You don't need a pill.. =)

If you make a serious effort to relax and have fun more, and focus more on good sleep, then the lack of good sleep, you will begin to see improvements. Appreciate the improvements, and away you go. =)

Take some time to wind down for your day. If you're running around non-stop right up until you put your head on the pillow, you'll find yourself lying awake while your body slows down. Experiment with different ways to relax as you prepare for bed - meditate, read a book, make some herbal tea, take a warm bubble bath - and figure out what works best for you.

Are you working out late in the evening? This can keep your body revved up for hours and make it difficult to fall asleep.

Also, check out your diet. Are you eating spicy foods or using caffeeine in the evening? Both can keep you up.

If you'd rather not take a whole pill, you can try half of one... or get some chamomile tea.. it's a natural sedative. Look in regular grocery store for "Sleepy Time" tea. It works pretty well.

Make sure you are not having any caffeine or sugar a couple hours before bedtime. I had to cut out drinking caffeine because I had the same trouble.
