I was thinking of something more interesting or educational, like a biography that is *not a hollywood-style celebrity, maybe something on history, or a dictator, or some old-time tycoon or something.

Check out any of the Discover channels, Animal Planet, Bravo, the History Channel. The channels in the 270s and 280s on DIRECTV. Lots of good documentaries on a variety of subjects: dinosaurs, the rare Butaan monitor lizard, the Crocodile Hunter, Jeff Corwin, space travel, other planets, historical figures, tornadoes, earthquakes, Egyptian mummies, historical battles, dictators, Jesse James, Lizzie Borden, you name it.

I watched one on the History Channel on Saturday about the Plague and how many people it killed all over the world and how crazy everyone got. It was pretty good. The History Channel has a lot of them. I'm sure you can find one you like.
