Just think - it doesn't smell bad to everything. Flies think it smells delicious. I think a lot of animals do, too.
If your diet has a lot of natural foods in it, and if you are hydrated (drinking enough water) it doesn't smell as bad. If you are eating enough natural foods, it smells like livestock, if you have ever been on a real farm. If you grew up on a farm, it's not a bad smell - it's just nature.
When I've gone without meat and artificial foods for a little while, I was surprised how it didn't smell bad. It didn't smell GOOD, but not offensive. Reminded me of being on a farm.

if you think about it from an evolutionists standpoint, one reason why poop "should" smell bad is so we have no desire to eat it! after all, we were pretty dumb at one point compared to today. but dont worry, microbacterials and insects take care of the poop, they live off it. however, we cannot live off a diet of poop, in contrast it would seem convienent to have poop smell bad, to divert us from the temptation of ingesting it, seeing as how we would not benefit from such.

Basically, poop is our bodies waste product. It's trash. Not supposed to smell good.
