Wow, does that mean then that Canadians are only living in Canada for the free health care? I would have been extremely friendly, somehow gotten to know if there was a Mrs. illegal immigrant, asked if he was interested in finding out how to get that free money (most are, from experience), wormed my way into their lives until I found out where they lived, then BAM--reported them. If they want to slam our country, they can be deported.

We do get to write off children on our taxes, but they cost us a whole lot more than what we can write off. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and looking around at daycares. The cheapest I have found thus far is $700 a month. Just daycare alone will cost me more than what I'll be able to save in taxes.

:) Sorry, but the tax money barely covers the cost of diapers, formula, day care. I don't mind immigrants :) my family immigrated from Germany years ago. But I do have a problem with ignorance. How can you walk a mile in someone elses shoes unless you walk the same mile.

The amount you wind up spending on raising the child will far outweigh any tax savings you garner.
Did he also tell you that here in America the streets are paved with gold? It's just another cultural myth.

TWO I don't work, I'm living with my parents raising my child til he's of school age and THEN I'm going back to work. So I'm saving in tax money....how? LOL
The only thing I get every day is more gray hair, migrains, and less sleep.

You should have said that our tax dollars pay for them to have children here illegally and get welfare benefits, and that is why they keep having children.

well, i have to say, that im not a rascist person, and i dont hate IMMIGRANTS, I dont hate ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS but i do highly disagree with it. they are sucking this country for everything its worth, we pay taxes faithfully in this country and we have VERY difficult problems getting tuition assistance for college, and yet they can go for FREE!?! WTF?
