Not much left out there, unless they want Jeff Weaver. I heard a rumor about Tony Armas Jr. but I'm sure that doesn't really excite any Toronto fans!

Didn't they just spend $100 million dollars last year to sign Ryan and Burnett? (and their fans still complain about the Yankees payroll, funny!)

Every team is looking for pitching, and there are very few decent pitchers out there. What few pitchers there are do not want to go to Canada, they want to stay right here in the States.

The Blue Jays still have Roy Halladay (what a waste that he is up there and not getting the recognition he deserves), Burnett, and maybe Chacin will become a tough pitcher, and they do have a few decent arms. But there are not many good arms out there period. Barry Zito getting $120 something million is a joke and shows you just how scarce good pitching is. Toronto is just not at the top of the list for free agent pitchers, unless they throw around big bucks like they did last year. Maybe the Blue Jays can coax Stieb, Clancy, or Henke out of retirement.

During the next close season.

Never, to get abigger salary cap, you just simply have to win games. Something they obviosly don't do. That franchise needs big investors or something to get a kickstart, because as it stands right now, that franchise is in the toilet.
