air brush is done to photographs to touch up zits & imperfections. they don't put them on their faces, but rather on pictures via computer programs.

An airbrush used in makeup looks and works just the same as the airbrushes used in art for things like tshirts.

Liquid make up is used instead of paint. Foundations are often applied this way to speed the process of doing makeup on lots of people. Plus it looks flawless. Other types of makeup may be applied this way also. For example Buffy the Vampire Slayer used airbrush for injuries in the later seasons.

Airbrushing makeup is not very practical for at home use. Not only would it be next to possible to use on yourself it requires a expensive set including an air compressor.

Mascara is a pigment that is applied the eye lashes to make them stand out and intensify the length.

Airbrush is a fairly new way of applying makeup. It actually uses air to blow a liquid makeup onto your skin. It gives a beautiful streakless, flawless look. Mascara is the darkening agent used on eyelashes.

Airbrush is a term used for "touching up" photographs.
