if 44 of 55 were correct, then 11 of 55 were NOT correct.
if you divide 11 by 55, the answer you get is 0.2, which, if you multiply it by 100%, is 20%

if there were a total of 55 on the test and he got 44 right, subtract the two, 55-44=11, 11 were incorrect. for a percent divide the two, incorrect over possible, then multiply by 100, 11/55=.2*100=20%
final answer is 20% incorrect

You have 11 problems solved incorrectly so make 11 your numerator & 55 your denominator of a fraction(11/55). Reduce & it becomes 1/5. Divide 1 by 5 & you get .20 or 20%.

44/55 were right, so 11/55 were wrong.
11/55=1/5
1/5=.2
and .2=20%.
So, the answer is 20%.

you can do it in more than one way for example:
(44/55)x100%=80%-----which is the percentage of correct answers.
so;
the % of wrong answer is= 100% - % of correct answer.
in other word ;
the % of wrong answer is= 100% - 80% =20%
the other way can be:
correct answer=44
wrong answer=55-44=11
(11/55)*100%=20%.
best wiches.
