how long will it take for the glue to come off?

they will look like poop until the entire nail bed grows out. 4-6 weeks. you can help the glue along a little by soaking your nails acetone and gently filing away the glue residue (be careful not to file your nail bed any further). once you get the surface even again, go to a beauty supply store and buy a nail revitalizer.

i would recommend that you go to a beauty supply store (like Sally's) and buy the solution that breaks down the glue, etc.
or-- if you choose, you can file down the glue until it is smooth. it will take a week or so for the glue to work its way off the rest of the way. i would also put a few coats of clear nail polish over top to help strengthen your weakened nails. (that is what i did once)
the time it takes for your nails to get back to normal depends upon how long you had them on... and how much damage you did picking the acrylics off. it usually takes the amount of time they were on for them to heal, but it can vary from person to person.

about a month. the nails will be very long, depending on the length of time the nails were worn. Acrylic is very damaging to the skin and nails.
