Hey, What are blogs on myspace? I think its like a public diary or something but I dunno.

It is essentially a public diary, but you can also have pictures, videos and other things in them.

"Blog" is a short form for "web log". These are web pages created by individuals keeping a "log" of their activities, similar to a diary or a journal.
