I don't attack gays, nor do I defend them. Everyone lives their own life, and I couldn't really care less.

You might like to consider that questions from ALL categories pop up on the Answers front page, so it's not necessarily true that everyone is "seeking out the gay questions" by going straight to that forum. For example, that's how I stumbled across this question.

Another thing to consider is that you are using an open public forum, and for as much as you have the privilege of expressing your opinions and thoughts, so does everyone else, whether they are bigoted or not.

If you do not wish to deal with such a broad scope of people that might include outspoken bigots, then maybe you should consider seeking a more exclusive venue to frequent.

I was thinking the same thing for the last four months. You haven't seen me on the page, either. I'm not sure about open-mindedness, appears to me that we all want what we want, and that's all. But the rest of what you said is accurate down to a letter-because I don't hate anyone, its too much time spent thinking about it.

I dont have any problems with gays. I hate it when people are ignored and made fun of for being gay because it is just who they are attracted to so people shouldnt have a problem with it. Im straight but I support gay marriage.

i don't hate people because of things they can't change, and i will never be friends with someone that hates gays. I'm straight, come from a fairly religious family, and am a bit dense at times, and even I understand that orientation isn't a good reason to hate people.

I think some of these people are generic trolls. They don't hate gays, they just like to stir the pot.

These same people will go into the religion forums and insult christians and athiests alike. They will go into every subject forum and take the most oppositional opinion just to get a bunch of people riled up.

The best way to deal with them is to deny them the attention they crave.

I don't believe there is anything wrong with LBGT. I actually have a few good friends that are either gay or a lesbian.

If you hate gays - remember we are the ones who rioted at the Stonewall and we may just rise up and smite us some christians someday. Are you safe in your bed should that happen or are you know as an ignorant hater.

I think it is a twisted way that these closet cases (many of whom don't recognize their true sexual orientation themselves) are able to associate with the LGBT community while maintaining enough distance so they don't get found out.

Too bad its long since been proven that the haters are gay themselves.

I wonder how they would feel (christians) if we sought out there forums and left all these hateful answers on theirs?

I am gay and it makes me angry seeing these people say we're gonna burn in hell because the way we live our lives. If they dont like it they should but out.

I don't go around advertising how I feel about gays. I have my own feelings on the matter, but I am intelligent enough to remain quiet.
